A silicone base coat should be applied 2-3 times a year.
This is sprayed on and allow to fully cure.
Than lightly buff.
Not every square inch needs to be covered, the base coat will help protect and allow the rock to move.
The opposite effect will happen as it makes the rock snowplow as it slides along.
This can also cause a quicker breakdown of the finished surface.
One is Yellow in colour the Other is White
